Error Processing & Conflict Monitoring

Error processing and conflict monitoring are executive functions that were associated with neural activation in the dorsomedial prefrontal cortex and specific event-related potentials (ERN, N2). My colleague Reto Iannaccone studies the neural correlates of error processing and conflict monitoring using simultaneous EEG-fMRI to unite the EEG-components with the fMRI activation patterns.
